I am writing to express our delight at the way in which Advanced Maintenance UK Ltd have managed our Boiler Maintenance Programme. As a Housing Association, we are monitored on our performance and one of the criteria is the CP12 compliance. Since Advanced Maintenance UK began working with us, they have ensured that we are 100% compliant at all times, so relieving us of that worry.

Without exception, the engineers who work in our properties are completely trustworthy and reliable and always advise us appropriately, whatever the issues. The service is excellent throughout, and we have a very good working relationship with all the staff, from the engineers who visit us, to the office staff who prepare our invoices or work out our annual services. Ricky Gale, the Operations Director is very approachable and has a host of knowledge and experience from which we have benefitted greatly. He took a personal interest in a refurbishment project that we were running, and was able to provide support at short notice when the original heating contractor failed to deliver to the required standard.

Western Challenge has carried out refurbishments of heating and hot water systems in numerous properties during the last financial year. The project affected almost 200 residents and it required good communications and a willingness to work with other contractors to achieve a good end result. Throughout the whole programme, there were no complaints from any of the residents, which is remarkable when considering that their water supplies and heating were curtailed for a period, and the kitchens were hardly usable at times.

During the bad weather in December 2009 and January 2010, the engineers made every effort to ensure our residents had their heating and hot water maintained, even when this required that their vehicles were left half a mile away, and they walked through the thick snow to fit the relevant parts. This is exceptional and should be applauded.

We have always enjoyed good working relationships with Advanced Maintenance UK Ltd, and I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone. If this letter is insufficient to convince anyone that the organisation provides excellent service and offers good value for money, then I would be happy to speak with them.

I just thought that I would write this letter to say thank you for all the work that your company has done in the last couple of years.

It's not often that you write these letters as most companies do not have the dedication that your company has got. Your work engineers go above the call of duty when attending to repairs at Charles Clore Court.

I just thought that I would highlight a few statements from tenants and staff at Charles Clore Court:

  • Putting new emergency heaters together then assisting with issuing them to all tenants that had no heating
  • Reassuring frail elderly tenants when water is pouring though their ceilings in the middle of the night, when they could have just ignored them
  • Coming within the deadline dates
  • Always trying to improve the system so that we have less call outs
  • Always being smart and wearing uniforms at all times
  • Always make appointments, and very rarely cancel them unless an emergency happens
  • Always get an answer on the phone no matter what time of day or night it is
  • Always where ever possible make sure that tenants have hot water or heating before they leave the property even if its just temporary heaters or kettles whilst waiting for a part
  • Always return once the part is in stock which is usually the next day
  • Never leave us unsure what is happening as they always report in as they arrive in the building and always give us a report verbally as they leave the building

I have personally worked for A2Dominion Group for at least 10 years and in all the time I have worked for the company I have never had so much respect for a repairs company, but your company certainly excels themselves in customer satisfaction, and the dedication that your staff have is second to none.

Whenever we have reported a fault the response time has always been the same day, the work completed is always right 1st time.

Subject: Thanks for the excellent service

I would like to say how very pleased I am with Advanced Maintenance regarding the installation of my new warm air boiler.

My initial contact with the office personnel, Gemma and Marc, always left me with a feeling that the company would look after me concerning the work pending and answered all my questions fully. The main engineer, Andrew, kept me fully informed throughout the work in progress during the installation. Andrew was accompanied by Graham who was equally helpful.

Ample time was spent with me at the end of the commissioning of the boiler to explain in full how everything worked. The working area was left extremely clean and all the old equipment was taken away.

I would have no hesitation in recommending this company.
