Training for the 90 Mile Bike Ride Challenge 2017

The team will be carrying out an approximately 90-mile cycling challenge from Bristol to Theale spread across two days. The trail will be the canal paths from Bristol & Avon to Reading, incorporating both off and on road trails.

DAY ONE: The plan is to set off from Bristol on Saturday 25th March 2017, stop at Bath for a coffee & cake, 2nd stop at Bradford on Avon more tea, coffee & cake and then about half way 45/50 miles to a Waterfront Pub.

DAY TWO: On Sunday 26th the team will head back to where they left off the day before then ride to Theale possibly with a couple of stops on the way, or perhaps to complete the whole length of the canal carry onto Reading.

UPDATE 19.03.2017 - Training for the big bike ride:

The team set out this weekend for one more practice run before the big ride next weekend.

In the picture below is the full team that went out together from left to right: Bryce Bellman, Marc Cox, Frank Cleary, Ricky Gale, George Blackwell, Andrew Rumble, Matt Henness and Mark Hensby. Just David Leach missing from the practice run.

From everyone here at Advanced Maintenance UK Ltd, I wish you all luck, especially as you are just doing it for fun and team building.
