Last week Advanced Maintenance UK Ltd welcomed Denefield School A Level Student Miss Dani Cox to the team as part of her Work Experience.
On Thursday Dani spent the day with Mike Cox and Karina Forster learning how the team manage our largest account. Mike went through the Clik 4 system, how and why we have to produce KPI’s and explained the customers own portal system. Mike demonstrated the importance of keeping the systems to date and demonstrated consequences of what happens when the procedures are not followed correctly. Dani was an absolute star and by the afternoon she was set up on the system and working on jobs!
On Friday Dani spent the morning with Kellie Pickett going through the company branding on Social Media pages. As Media student Dani already had knowledge of most of the social media outlets, so Kellie explained why Advanced Maintenance has chosen the media outlets that they use and how we use them to optimise our web presence. They then went through the company accreditation's, discussing why they are needed, how we select which ones are required and what is involved with maintaining them.
Finally Dani spent the rest of the day with the Initial Call out team in the unit 2 office. When a call comes in to Advanced Maintenance it comes initially through to the unit 2 offices. Dani experienced how the team handle calls, learning how to get the initial information from the customer to ensure that the call is directed to the correct person. Then Dani spent some time with each of the team so they could explain their individual roles within the company;
