Following the success of the Portugal Team Building Trip in 2014 the Directors of Advanced Maintenance UK Ltd decided to do it again this year, this time in Turkey.
On Wednesday July 1st 2015 the team boarded a plane and headed off to Turkey for 5 days. For those that could manage the pace it was straight off out for the night, for everyone else it was off to bed to rest up for a day of activities on Thursday.
On Thursday morning the team set out first to Tlos where they visited Rock Tombs and other ancient monuments (not to mention a café or too!).
Then it was off to Tlos Yakapark, a live trout farm with natural spring water.
There were Trout literally everywhere even taking a swim through a canal built into the bar!
Always willing to face anything thrown at them, two of the team David and Scott took up the cold water challenge where staying in the freezing cold water for 5 minutes would earn you a free drink or 15 minutes would earn you a free meal! They successfully managed to get their free drinks but missed the free meal!
Finally, it was off to Saklikent Gorge for a water walk along the Gorge...
...or for those that were brave enough, it was a 4km large tube trip down the fast flow river!
After an action-packed day the team were given Friday to themselves to do whatever they wanted, but Saturday they were all back together for the Boat Trip.
On Sunday there was just enough time for breakfast, then it was time to pack up and come back to England ready for the working week.
Thank Yous: The whole team would like to say a special thank you to all of the Advanced Maintenance Directors for another excellent and beneficial team building trip. Also we would like to thank Grahams and their team representative Matt & BSS and their team representative Ian & Simon for joining the team in Turkey.
Photography Note: Special thanks to David & Stuart for supplying the photographs used in the News story. All the remaining photographs we will be updating the Facebook Page as and when the team bring in their pictures (well the suitable ones anyway!).
And finally, a farewell to one of the team, having been with Advanced Maintenance for many years Gas & Oil Engineer Scott Heirene is moving onwards and upwards (Literally he's moving up the country!). Advanced Maintenance UK Ltd would like to wish Scott all the best with all his future endeavours and thank him for his time with the team.
