Advanced Maintenance UK Ltd.’s Director David Jones is about to embark on the BSS Superhero Challenge 2019! Each team (of at least 2 people) has to drive an old or cheap car from Leicester to St Tropez and back again in 5 days!
Mr Jones brought his car in for the team to have a look before he departed on Tuesday ready for the challenge and we have to say it’s looking good.
But why are they doing it? The aim of the challenge is to raise at least £100,000 for Mind. BSS has a long-term commitment to supporting Mind and SAMH (Scottish Association for Mental Health), the leading mental health charities in the UK. With mental health problems affecting one in four people every year, hundreds of thousands are struggling to cope.
Earlier this year Advanced Maintenance UK Ltd signed the Building Mental Health Charter, committing to building positive mental health and in June this year, we gained our first Mental Health Champion. Mind is out there doing fantastic work, both raising awareness and providing so we couldn't be happier to help raise much-needed funds for this brilliant charity.
