Mental Health Awareness Week 201913-May-2019

Mental Health Problems can affect anyone, any day of the year, but this week is a great time to have a chat with a friend, family member or colleague and have think about your own wellbeing too.

Everyone has mental health and everyone should take steps to ensure their continued mental wellbeing,  Rethink Mental Illness have issued their 5 top tips for maintaining good mental well-being so you can continue to maintain good mental health;

However, you may feel that your mental health is not in a positive place, it is important to remember that mental health issues can affect anyone at any time, whether it be work, home or seemingly nothing at all.

If you are not feeling ok, even if you can't put your finger on what's wrong, please don't ignore the feeling and hope it goes away, instead take the time to consider your mental wellbeing.

It hard to know where to start sometimes, the NHS advice recommends unless it is an emergency situation (In which case please contact 999 immediately) speaking with a colleague, friend or family member as soon as you are able.

Advanced Maintenance UK Ltd is making changes to ensure the mental wellbeing of our employees and in July 2019 we will have our very first mental health first aider trained in preparation for mental well-being awareness training for the entire AMUK team to take place this summer.

Our Senior Management team have been working hard to ensure they have the knowledge and understanding required to help those in need and welcome any of our employees to come and talk to them at any time, about anything at all.
