I am writing to express our delight at the way in which Advanced Maintenance UK Ltd have managed our Boiler Maintenance Programme. As a Housing Association, we are monitored on our performance and one of the criteria is the CP12 compliance. Since Advanced Maintenance UK began working with us, they have ensured that we are 100% compliant at all times, so relieving us of that worry.

Without exception, the engineers who work in our properties are completely trustworthy and reliable and always advise us appropriately, whatever the issues. The service is excellent throughout, and we have a very good working relationship with all the staff, from the engineers who visit us, to the office staff who prepare our invoices or work out our annual services. Ricky Gale, the Operations Director is very approachable and has a host of knowledge and experience from which we have benefitted greatly. He took a personal interest in a refurbishment project that we were running, and was able to provide support at short notice when the original heating contractor failed to deliver to the required standard.

Western Challenge has carried out refurbishments of heating and hot water systems in numerous properties during the last financial year. The project affected almost 200 residents and it required good communications and a willingness to work with other contractors to achieve a good end result. Throughout the whole programme, there were no complaints from any of the residents, which is remarkable when considering that their water supplies and heating were curtailed for a period, and the kitchens were hardly usable at times.

During the bad weather in December 2009 and January 2010, the engineers made every effort to ensure our residents had their heating and hot water maintained, even when this required that their vehicles were left half a mile away, and they walked through the thick snow to fit the relevant parts. This is exceptional and should be applauded.

We have always enjoyed good working relationships with Advanced Maintenance UK Ltd, and I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone. If this letter is insufficient to convince anyone that the organisation provides excellent service and offers good value for money, then I would be happy to speak with them.
