In 1998, Advanced Maintenance UK Ltd was founded in the garage of one of our directors, with just a small team of 4. Today we are a team of 40 direct employees over 3 offices in the Chiltern Enterprise Centre, Theale, and provide a large range of heating, plumbing and ventilation services to the commercial and domestic sectors across the home counties. Our continued growth and expansion can be attributed to the drive and passion of our team. Despite our continuous growth, Advanced Maintenance UK Ltd has never lost its personable approach. We recognise that our strength is in the people that surround us, so whilst we are professional in all that we do, you will never be ‘just a number’ in our team. We are looking for 2 Domestic Gas and Maintenance Engineers, covering the Home Counties. A brief overview of this role can be found below; Responsibilities and Duties General plumbing - anything from a domestic property to a large scale plant room Carry out heating repairs in response to reported faults, diagnosing faults and replacing defective parts as necessary Heating system removals and installations. Annual maintenance including heating, servicing, cleaning, replacing parts etc. Complete all checks and services necessary for Landlord Certification. Power flushing Essential Plumbing Domestic Gas - CCN1, CEN WAT, CKR1, HTR1, CPA1 Full UK driving license Engineers will be required to join an on-call rota to support emergency call outs. Must have the right to work in the UK. Any other qualifications would be beneficial but not required. Benefits A company sign-written van Full uniform & PPE A smartphone with access to the Clik Jobs and Gas Engineer Software Apps for paperless job reporting. All employees are entitled to 28 days annual holiday with 1 extra day holiday for every 2 years of employment (Capped at 10 years’ service, holidays inclusive of bank holidays). Company Pension. For only the second time since the company was established in 2008, we have a company baby on the way! Cygnet Account Manager Amber is due to welcome her new arrival early 2023, and the team is in full baby mode waiting for the big day. Of course, they will all miss Amber greatly when she heads off for her much-deserved maternity leave in December, but we all look forward to cuddling with the baby when we meet them, and the company is excited to welcome our newest team member Amy who has joined us for the next 12 months. Amy has picked up the role brilliantly in her first few weeks alone, and we are excited about her time with the company. On Thursday, 29th September 2022, Advanced Maintenance UK Ltd hosted a MacMillan Coffee Morning to raise money for MacMillan Cancer Support. The team showed up in full force with lots of lovely home-baked cakes and goodies! At one point, we were worried there was too much, but in true Advanced Maintenance UK Ltd style, we are pleased to confirm no cake was wasted. A huge thank you to everyone who donated and stopped by; the day was fun for all that attended, and we are pleased to confirm that we smashed our target, raising a total of £576.50 !

To aid us in the commitment to these standards, we hold several accreditations, including ISO9001:2015 & ISO14001:2015, CHAS, SMAS Worksafe, Gas Safe, OFTEC, Constructionline and Acclaim Accreditation. Our Quality Manager Kellie Pickett worked together with our Senior Management team to prepare for the annual Constructionline renewal, and on 5th August 2022, their hard work paid off as we received our certificates for our Bronze, Silver and Gold memberships together with our Acclaim Accreditation DTS. A big well done to the team for their hard work on this and our Chas Advanced certification, which was completed just days before.
