Social Value at Advanced Maintenance
At Advanced Maintenance UK Ltd, social value isn't a buzzword, it's something we live every day. We're a regional contractor that genuinely cares about the communities we work in, and we believe the way we do business should leave a positive mark.
2025 marks the first year we've formalised our social value strategy, but it's far from the beginning of our journey. For years, we've been quietly supporting our clients and their communities. Now, we’re making it official.
Our Commitment
We’ve pledged the following for 2025:
-
£2,000 in social value contributions through sponsorships, donations, and community projects.
-
20 hours of volunteer time, shared across our team to support local initiatives.
These are minimum targets. We hope to exceed them, but we also believe in being realistic and reliable with what we promise. Progress will be reviewed each December and updated annually.

Projects We're Proud Of
We're currently working on:
-
A Furniture Support Project with Match My Project and A2Dominion, helping vulnerable residents move and furnish their homes.
-
Sponsoring a young mother to join a local football club, improving wellbeing and building community connections.
-
Ongoing enrolment on social value platforms with A2Dominion, Sovereign Network Group, and Peabody, ready to take on more once our current projects are fully delivered.
We’ve also supported a variety of meaningful causes, including:
-
Tough Mudder fundraising events, raising money for Pancreatic Cancer UK and other charities
-
Fundraiser for Robyn’s fight against retinoblastoma.
-
Regular donations to local football teams, Springfield Primary School, food banks, and the SYD Wells Gambian Football Project
We don’t rush to do more just to tick boxes. We believe in doing things properly, with full commitment and genuine heart.
Match My Project
We are proud to be partnered with Match My Project, an independent initiative that connects social value providers (like us) with real, community-driven needs
identified by housing associations, councils, and other organisations.
Through this platform, we find meaningful ways to give back, whether that’s helping someone move, sponsoring local sports, or supporting mental health through activity.
You can read more about Match My Project here.

Growing Skills and Opportunities
Apprenticeships & Skills Development: In 2024, Brandon Gale and Conor Rogers completed their Domestic Gas apprenticeships, supported by mentors Merle Waters and Tom Beadle. In 2025, we welcomed a new apprentice, Leon Japhet, beginning his gas training journey with support from our experienced engineers.
Local Schools & Career Days:
We’ve participated in careers events at schools like Denefield to showcase roles in engineering, M&E, and administration.
Our Principles
-
We are a Real Living Wage employer
-
We support inclusive, local recruitment
-
We create flexible roles that support parents, carers, and people returning to work
We also aim to align with our clients’ social value goals wherever we can. From co-hosting events to using local suppliers or getting involved in sustainability drives, we're all in.
Got a Project We Could Support?

We’re always open to new ideas, partnerships, and projects. Whether you're a client, community group, or just someone who sees a need, get in touch. We'd love to hear from you.

OUR SERVICES

5-star: Excellent company
Really excellent company. Reliable and skilled team. All costs are explained upfront, and best advice given. They fitted my first boiler years ago, and my new one just over a year ago.
More recently they’ve carried out a range of gas works and serviced the boiler.
